Women in Aerospace

On May 27, 2021, the African Aeronautics & Space Organization (AASO) is offering a webinar entitled "Women in Aerospace". The lack of women in industry, politics, and education as well as in places of power and decision is still too great. The aerospace industry is not spared and is particularly affected by lack of female science students, female technicians, female engineers, female researchers and female decision-makers. The AASO is organizing this event and will highlight 5 exceptional women to discuss these issues.
Leone Ouedraogo presenter at BBC World Service will lead the discussions.
They will describe their respective backgrounds, their original motivation, their training and their professional experiences.
What difficulties have they encountered during their exceptional careers?
What strategies have they successfully implemented to overcome these difficulties? What are they doing today?
What are their responsibilities?
On May 27, 2021, the event will start at 4 p.m. GMT (6 pm Paris time), will last 2 hours, including questions.
